The visual networks - are
they right for you and your brand?
I personally think that people respond to better to pictures
or video and definitely create more interest and curiosity of a product or
service. It’s like the saying that
people hear with their eyes. I feel that
people pay more attention when there is visual stimulation involved.
I feel that some visual networks could work my business. To compare the four most widely used visual
platforms according to the lecture are FaceBook, YouTube, Google+, and
LinkedIn. I feel that Facebook is good
for my business to connect with others, create interest and drive people to the
website. I like how you can post
pictures and even videos on this one platform.
YouTube could also work depending on what information we decide to put
out there. We could video the process of
making the wine rocks and also describe the different type’s rocks in each piece. I am not very familiar with Google+, but for
what I have seen it reminds me of Facebook. I feel that LinkedIn is more of a professional
site for people not businesses such as mine that make pieces of art. I know that there are business on there so I suppose connecting with businesses or people that could use your product or service is the same as connecting with them on the other platforms.
Overall, I suppose all of them could work when used correctly. : )
